Peghead Bushing Reamers

Be ready for any tuner installation! Our custom-sized counterbore reamers ensure that your press-fit tuner bushings will fit correctly.

Before you install press-fit tuner bushings, be sure they'll fit correctly, so your tuners will work efficiently. Too tight, and they can chip the peghead finish or crack the wood. Too loose, and they can rattle or fall out. Our custom reamers cut a clean, accurate counterbore for a professional job.

Designed for slow-speed use in your drill press, each steel reamer is 2-3/4" (69.85mm) overall length, with a 1/4"-diameter (6.35mm) pilot and two 1" (25.40mm) cutting flutes.

The #2062 bushing reamer with .340" diameter is made for bushings on Waverly Guitar Tuning Machines.

The #2061 bushing reamer with .328" diameter is made for bushings on Waverly Mandolin Tuning Machines.
