ZERO FRETS

1. SINTOMS Zero Frets make the sound of a musical instrument more saturated with overtones, and make the chords clearer and more readable.
2. There are two groups of SINTOMS Zero Frets:
   • zero frets without a tang
   • Zero frets with a tang without studs.
3. Zero Frets without a tang can easily be installed on a finished musical instrument, as well as on a newly created one. To install a zero fret without a tang, it is not necessary to make a groove in the fretboard or to mill the upper nut. It could be installed by pushing it close to the upper nut. It is necessary to make a straight dip (for example, with the help of a screwdriver) on the fretboard and to drop a little glue in order to install a zero fret correctly.
4. Zero Frets with a tang without studs can be installed in the cut upper nut or in the groove in the fretboard under the upper nut (if the length of the fretboard allows you to keep the required musical instrument’s scale).
5. SINTOMS Zero Frets have three different profiles: Zero frets without a tang have only a frill profile, and Zero Frets with a tang without studs have a frill-asymmetrical or asymmetrical profile.
6. The highest point of the fret crown of each profile has a shift reducing the musical instrument’s scale by 0.4 mm.
7. SINTOMS Zero Frets are produced from three different materials:
   1. nickel silver with a nickel content of 25%.
   2. stainless steel.
   3. bell bronze.
