Micro-Mesh Belts for Fret Dressing Stick , 120-grit replacement belt, pkg of 5
Upgraded to Micro-Mesh!
The Fret Dressing Stick features interchangeable Micro-Mesh® sanding belts for removing the scratches left by leveling and crowning files.
This comfortable tool is spring-loaded to keep pressure on the sanding belt. A flip of your thumb rotates the belt for a fresh sanding surface. The compact size makes it ideal for fretwork. Use the grits in sequence to achieve a mirror shine on frets and hardware.
TIP: Some of us like to file a groove in the end of the stick. This way it fits over the fretwire like a crowning file.
Much more durable than traditional sandpaper, Micro-Mesh sanding belts are constructed with a thin cushion between the cloth back and the abrasive crystals. This cushion allows the crystals to align evenly and prevents random scratches in your work. Micro-Mesh crystals do not load up or generate heat the way traditional sandpaper does.
The tool measures 6-3/8" (162mm) long. The Micro-Mesh sanding belts are 1/4" (6.35mm) wide.
