Better way to work with bolt-on necks
Attach the Surrogate Body to your Erlewine Neck Jig to work on necks removed from the guitar body. With the body out of the way, you have easy access for fretwork and adjustments.
Heel-access Fender truss rods are so much easier to adjust with the neck off the body. And you can file the highest frets without scratching the guitar. No need for taping off to protect the finish, which is risky on vintage lacquer. The body stays safely in its case as you work.
