Golden Age Pickup Kit for Strat, With Alnico 2 magnets

Build your own guitar pickups from the ground up: go for the vintage sound or wind it your own way for custom tone!

Alnico 2 magnets give a warmer tone and low end response with smooth, singing highs. Many builders use them in the bridge pickups of solidbodies.

Pickup Kit for Strat includes the basics for a pickup that's straight from the '50s:

• Black fiber bobbin flatwork (with brass eyelets already installed)
• Six (6) Alnico 2 vintage specification staggered-height polepieces, ready to magnetize
• Black and white push-back wire
• Two (2) mounting screws with compressible tubing for height adjustment

Spacing Specs:

• Polepiece spacing is 2.0625" (52.39mm)
• Pole to pole spacing (measured on centers) is 0.4125" (10.48mm)

Also available with Alnico 5 magnets for a brighter tone with a tighter low end and stinging highs.

The assembled pickup fits a standard Strat® pickup cover and pickguard.
