Alnico 2 Polepiece Magnets
Alnico 2 magnets give a warmer tone and low end response with smooth, singing highs.
Many builders use Alnico 2 magnets in the bridge pickups of solidbodies.
0.195" (4.95mm) diameter, sold individually.
Polepieces are supplied unmagnetized for easy handling and pickup assembly, and are sold individually. To magnetize the polepieces in the assembled pickup, use two 1" Guitar Repair Magnets. Our instructions show you how.
The Alnico 2 magnets are marked red on one end to tell them apart from Alnico 5's.
