Graphtec TUSQ Saddle for Classical Guitar
TUSQ is a synthetic material created by Graphtech® as a substitute for traditional bone. For years it has been used by the world's leading manufacturers in the saddles and nuts of their instruments.
TUSQ has several advantages:
- Contrary to the bone, which can have different porosities and densities that can damp the sound, TUSQ is a very consistent product, removing flat and dead spots and offering the same behavior from piece to piece. As a result of this consistency, a remarkable improvement in sustain and harmonic content is achieved.
