Tiny but tough! Case-hardened steel truss rod cover screws for guitars, banjos, mandolins, and more. Slotted screws are found on many vintage instruments—great for restorations. Choose Phillips-head screws for a modern look.These screws are 1/4" (6.35mm) in length and come in two thread diameters: 0.099" (2.5mm) for most modern instruments and a hard-to-find 0.086" (2.18mm) for vintage replacements. Sold individually.

Tip: Use a depth-stop drill bit or mark your bit with a piece of tape so you don't drill through the headstock.
