If you are looking to protect your guitar and get a long-lasting finish with classic colours, your choice is polyurethane, a 2-component product that offers maximum resistance and fast drying while respecting the sound and vibration of the wood.

With the purchase of a 500 ml can of colour, a 250 ml bottle of hardener 190046 is always included. The mixing ratio of the product is 2 parts colour to 1 part hardener (2:1).

As with nitrocellulose in a can, the viscosity can be adjusted with either of the two solvents we offer. Once the mixture has been mixed, it has a pot life of 2 hours before it can be applied. Apply in thin coats waiting 8 to 12 hours between coats and always sand to matt the previous coat and to ensure grip.
