If you want to get your guitar painted to a perfect finish and you have painting equipment (spray gun and compressor) the best choice is nitrocellulose varnish in can format, you get a higher performance for a lower price and with painting equipment the final result will be professional with less effort.

It is recommended to dilute the product with solvent to adjust the viscosity for a perfect application. We have two types of solvents available, the usual solvent used is Solvent Medium, but for more extreme environmental conditions of humidity and temperature we can use Solvent Retard to avoid boiling and streaking in the finish.

Optimum application conditions are between 15 and 25 ºC and 50 to 70% humidity. The dilution percentage will depend on the paint equipment and its configuration but the recommended dilution is between 10 to 20% solvent. The spray gun nozzle is usually 1.3 to 1.5 and the compressor pressure is about 2.5 to 3 bar.
