What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 20€ (VAT and transport costs not included).
Can you ship my order to a country which is not in the list of destinations?
We can send our products to all over the world, however if your country is not in our list of destinations it is due to the fact that we only have fixed transport costs to certain places. For other countries we must ask for a quote from our transport company, this way obtaining the best offer available at that moment in time. Therefore if you would like to place an order with us all you need to do is send us the list of products you want by email to madinter@madinter.com and we shall reply as soon as possible.
What are the forms of payment?
Credit card: You can use MASTER-CARD or VISA. Your data are transmitted over a secure connection, encrypted and protected as per the Secure Socket Layers (SSL) protocol. This way your credit card details travel encrypted to Banco Sabadell Atlántico, where your card is charged and therefore your data is never accessible to anyone else. This form of payment is immediate. Bank transfer: You can make a wire transfer for the total amount of your order to the name of Madinter Trade, S.L., to the account number indicated when you confirm your order. All bank commissions are to be paid by the customer. A copy of the bank transfer receipt can be sent to us by email to madinter@madinter.com or by fax to +34 91 845 4906. This form of payment takes 24 to 48 hours. Cash on delivery: Only within Spain. TNT is the transport company authorised to carry out the delivery and receive the payment. When your order is received at the address you indicate payment must be made. Only cash can be accepted.
What taxes do I pay?
Our prices do not include VAT (value added tax). When you select the destination where your order is to be sent to www.madinter.com will calculate the taxes, if applicable. VAT is only charged on orders sent within the EU, with the exception of EU companies (not Spanish) who have a European VAT number.
If your order is being sent to a country within the EU no other taxes will be charged. If, however, the order is to be sent to a country outside of the EU it must pass customs and you will be charged import duties and taxes. For further information you must contact your local authorities.
How much are the transport costs?
The prices indicated are exworks and subject to change without notice. The transport is prepaid by Madinter Trade, S.L. and the costs are added on to the invoice. Orders are sent via the transport company GLS and TNT for destinations within Spain, and via the transport companies GLS, TNT and UPS for other countries. Shipping fees do not include the taxes or duties of your country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
We cannot use the postal service for sending our merchandise because they do not supply us with the corresponding export document. This document is a legal requirement for an exporting company such as Madinter.
What is "Personal ID Nº"?
When registering on www.madinter.com you are asked to fill in your “Personal ID Nº". Here you must indicate your NIF, NIE, passport number, or ID card number (Carte Nationale D'Identité) or social security number as this a legal requirement in Spain.
I am having problems paying by credit card. What can I do?
If you are having problems paying by credit card please feel free to send us your credit card details (16 digits and expiry date) and we will charge your card for you. We destroy this information immediately after its use. On the other hand you can make a wire transfer to our bank. Madinter Trade, S.L. How to order a Gift Voucher? A Gift Voucher can be purchased in the exact same way as any of our other products at www.madinter.com. Once we have received an order for a Gift Voucher and the corresponding payment we will send you your personalised gift certificate by email. Don’t forget to indicate in the observations box who your Gift Voucher is for. Conditions for using a Voucher All vouchers must be spent within 12 months from the date of purchase. A voucher can be used only on one order and not over various orders. Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. If the value of the voucher is higher than the value of the purchase the difference will not be returned. If the value of the voucher is lower than the value of the order the difference must be paid when finishing the purchase.
How to use a Voucher? When you want to use a voucher you must first sign in with your email and password, or register yourself if you are a new client at www.madinter.com. Now you can place your order online. Once you have added to your cart all the articles you need you must then choose the destination, the form of payment and the form of transport. It is now when you must enter the code in the promotional code box just before clicking on the check out button. If the value of your order is higher than the value of the voucher you must pay the difference.
What if my order is damaged during transport?
All shipments are insured. Any damage produced during transport must be claimed within 24 hours of the receipt of the goods.
Can I return or exchange a product?
We are sure of the quality of our products, however should you wish to return any one to us you can do so, with the transport costs prepaid, within 15 days of the receipt of your order. We can either send a replacement or return your money to you. If we make a mistake in your order we shall correct the error at no charge. We cannot accept returned products that have been manipulated, or transformed in anyway. Once the product has been received at our premises it will be checked, following which we will proceed to either send the replacement or return the money. Is the wood ready to be used immediately?
We cannot guarantee that the humidity content of the wood is adequate for its immediate use. We recommend you use a moisture metro to control the humidity content of the wood. |
